Custom Fabrication Solutions Built for Integration, Efficiency and Scale

Delivering fully fabricated aluminum components and assemblies designed to reduce complexity and streamline your production.

At Dajcor Aluminum, fabrication transforms extruded and machined components into complete, ready-to-use solutions.

With full in-house fabrication and machining capability, we support everything from simple modifications to complex assemblies, helping customers reduce internal processing, improve consistency, and streamline their supply chain.

The value of fabrication sitting next to extrusion and machining is mostly logistical: parts are not crated, shipped, queued and inspected between every operation. Fewer handoffs means fewer handling marks, fewer schedule dependencies and one supplier accountable for the finished assembly.

Common Applications

  • Welded aluminum assemblies
  • Structural frames and support systems
  • Brackets, mounts, and enclosures
  • Architectural systems and hardware
  • Industrial automation and T-slot structures
  • Transportation and mobility components
  • Modular systems and sub-assemblies
  • Custom fabricated components for integrated products

Fabrication operations

Operations are combined in whatever sequence the part requires, from a single cut through to a welded and assembled unit.

Precision cutting and sawing
Tight-tolerance cut lengths, including repeat cuts across long production runs.
Tube laser cutting
Holes, slots, notches and end profiles cut in a single setup rather than several fixtures.
Mitering, notching and piercing
Corner and joint preparation for framed and mitred assemblies.
Bending and forming
Formed sections where a curve or bend replaces a joint.
Welding (MIG and TIG)
Aluminum welding for structural frames, brackets and enclosures.
Mechanical assembly
Fastening, inserts and hardware fitted so parts arrive ready to install.
CNC machining integration
Machined features added before or after fabrication as the part requires.
Assembly-ready delivery
Sub-assemblies or complete units, finished and packed for your line.

Performance features

What the process is designed to deliver, and why it matters downstream.

Assembly-Ready ComponentsDelivered ready for installation or integration
Reduced Part CountCombining multiple components into one fabricated solution
Consistency and RepeatabilityReliable quality across production runs

Where We Add Value

We help simplify your product and your supply chain.

By combining extrusion, machining, and fabrication, we:

  • Reduce assembly time and labour
  • Improve product consistency
  • Eliminate multiple vendors
  • Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost

Why Dajcor

Dajcor has run as a one-stop, dual-source supplier since 2010, with plants in Chatham, Ontario and Chavies, Kentucky. Removing subcontractors from the chain is what shortens lead times and keeps handling marks and freight costs down.

  • Full in-house fabrication and machining capability
  • Reduced reliance on multiple suppliers
  • Faster turnaround and improved coordination
  • Consistent quality from a single source
  • North American manufacturing reliability

From Component to Complete Solution

How a project moves from first conversation to delivered parts.

Design collaboration and feasibility
We review the assembly with your team and confirm what can be combined, welded or formed.
Prototype fabrication
A prototype is fabricated so fit, weld access and assembly sequence can be checked for real.
Process development and optimization
The process is developed around fixturing, cycle time and repeatability before volume starts.
Production scaling
Production scales up with consistent fixturing and inspection across the run.
Final assembly and delivery
Finished assemblies are inspected, packed and delivered ready to install.

Common questions

Answers to the questions that come up most often at the quoting stage.

Yes. In addition to aluminum extrusion, Dajcor offers a range of secondary operations to support complete component manufacturing.

These services may include precision machining, fabrication, cutting, drilling, and finishing processes such as anodizing or powder coating, depending on the requirements of the application.

Providing these value-added services allows customers to streamline their supply chain by sourcing fully finished components from a single manufacturing partner.

Lead times for custom aluminum extrusions can vary depending on factors such as profile complexity, die production, finishing requirements, and order volume.

For mill-finish extrusions using existing tooling, typical lead times are approximately two weeks, although this may fluctuate depending on production scheduling and seasonal demand.

New projects that require die manufacturing, sampling, or additional finishing processes may require additional time. Our team works closely with customers during the quoting and design phase to establish realistic timelines and ensure efficient production scheduling.

Minimum order quantities for aluminum extrusions depend on several factors, including the profile design, alloy selection, and the weight of the extrusion profile.

Depending on the profile size and weight, production may be scheduled on one of our extrusion presses. For many profiles, typical minimum order quantities range from approximately 500 kg to 1,000 kg.

During the quoting stage, our team reviews each project to determine the most efficient production quantities based on the specific requirements of the application.
